PCSI is looking for a Workforce Development Coordinator! This position facilitates department communication and provides a wide range of support for the Workforce Development team, which provides employment services to PCSI's employees and clients with disabilities. The Workforce Development Coordinator supports the department by monitoring policies that affect employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and by tracking disability-related data to fulfill reporting requirements for AbilityOne and SourceAmerica. This role also maintains internal systems and acts as a point of contact for coordinating disability resources for employees and improving accessibility in administrative processes.

The ideal candidate for this role will need strong administrative skills, to include researching and reporting on highly detailed information and communicating across multiple departments. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred, but dedication to our mission and compassion for people of all abilities is a must. This position is based in our corporate office in south Austin, TX.

What You'll Do as Workforce Development Coordinator:

  • Communicate and gain relevant information such as ratios for employees with disabilities for AbilityOne and Source America reporting.
  • Strategize research in relevant polices and other areas impacting employment of people with disabilities internally and externally related to local, state, and federal.
  • Establish and efficiently communicate internal procedures and policy changes across department.
  • Utilize internal tracking mechanisms related to disability information along with internal and external practices and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of internal employee files to maintain compliance with internal and external practices and procedures.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities as related to retention policy in office and internal case management system.
  • Perform administrative duties of internal department case management system.
  • Review and report the disability status of new and existing employees to meet AbilityOne requirements.
  • Maintain and track internal supply of marketing materials and coordinate with Marketing to replenish items when needed.
  • Maintain documentation of interpreting services and coordinate with Office of General Counsel about vendor agreements and related documents.
  • Assist and coordinate interpreting services as needed companywide; maintain awareness of budgetary needs.
  • Provide technical assistance to site staff and team members when needed.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of procedures, processes, forms, and other materials for the department.
  • Provide tools and strategies on ways to improve accessibility in processes.
  • Handle external and internal inquiries, coordinate information, and direct questions to the correct team member.
  • Manage incoming faxes and any other communications to relay to relevant members of the department.
  • Collaborate with team members across the country to meet compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with Community Employment Program to assist in activities as directed by supervisor.
  • Administrative duties as assigned from Senior Vice President of Workforce Development.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness required per departmental guidelines.
  • Participation in the performance evaluation program is required.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience in an administrative office environment required.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • May need to have the ability to legally drive a company vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), specifically SharePoint, preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Understanding of AbilityOne Program and SourceAmerica as well as community social services and case management techniques.
  • Understanding of interacting with a variety of disabilities.
  • Ability to effectively write and create reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Ability to work positively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all and any levels of the organization.
  • Ability to speak and explain as needed before groups of external and internal members of organizations
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to direct and instruct others from afar.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass credit, criminal, drug, and driving screening.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position regularly, up to 85% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and carry office materials and supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc. and a personal computer.
  • Ability to exchange accurate information in person and over the phone.
  • Primarily works indoors.
  • Occasional travel may be required, up to 5%.
