Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position:

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth production operations by managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and facilitating the timely delivery of materials to designated workstations. This position requires coordination with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules efficiently.

Major Responsibilities:
⦁ Production Schedule Coordination:
⦁ Collaborate with Leads, team members, and Production Supervisor to determine daily production schedules and required materials/parts.
⦁ Inventory Verification and Maintenance:
⦁ Verify and maintain inventory accuracy, including accurate part identification labels and quantities.
⦁ Material Delivery and Stock Replenishment:
⦁ Delivery and stock materials at designated workstations to meet production schedules promptly.
⦁ Replenish stock levels as needed to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
⦁ Inventory Management:
⦁ Maintain accurate stock levels, track inventories, and organize storage locations for efficient retrieval.
⦁ Communication and Collaboration:
⦁ Maintain regular communication with Leads, Shipping & Receiving, and Production Management regarding inventory and production needs.
⦁ Support in Production Tasks:
⦁ Assist with simple production tasks or assemblies as required by the team.
⦁ Schedule Recommendations:
⦁ Offer recommendations for any necessary changes in schedules to optimize production efficiency.
⦁ Quality and Safety Standards:
⦁ Uphold quality and productivity standards while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
⦁ Adaptability to Assigned Tasks:
⦁ Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to support operational needs.

Hourly Rate: $19.50-$20.50

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
⦁ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
⦁ Previous experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Successful Essential Skills:
⦁ Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
⦁ Strong organizational and communication skills.
⦁ Ability to adapt and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
