Description
  • Works closely with the GIS sales team in managing broker relationships and new business opportunities. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our broker partners and their clients.
  • Develop relationships with our carrier partners and Third-Party Administrator Partner.
  • Gain knowledge of insurance products including but not limited to: dental, life, disability, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, medical.
  • Gain knowledge of all GIS benefit administration systems; Ease, Employee Navigator, benefitsCONNECT, ADP, BSwift, Selerix and PlanSource.
  • Serve as the liaison between our broker partners, clients and carrier partners on all ancillary lines of coverage.
  • Act as the escalated point of contact for assigned broker partners and client accounts which may include billing inquiries, eligibility inquiries, policy questions or contract review.
  • Oversees and quarterbacks the implementation process of new sold cases with our internal sales team, enrollment firm, carrier partners and Third-Party Administrator.
  • Become an expert at training our clients on our online enrollment, eligibility, and onboarding process.
  • May assist in facilitating the renewal process to ensure Benefit Administration systems are set up for open enrollment and timelines are communicated to our broker partners.
  • Execute the renewal process by efficiently documenting and communicating for high level cases with our broker and carrier partners, along with our TPA.
  • Implement new lines of coverage by identifying upsell opportunities with the Sales Rep and/or Sales Specialist.
  • Hosting web or in-person demos of the benefit administration platforms with our broker partners and their clients.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to our broker partners and clients.
  • Ensures GIS Internal systems are up to date and coordinates managing client data in our CRM system.
Requirements

  Required, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable on the phone and presenting to clients and prospects in person or via webinar.
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly.
  • The candidate has a sense of urgency and takes pride in their work. 
  • Must be comfortable in a team environment.
  • Must have the ability to articulate solutions to customer service issues.


The qualified candidate should have the following: 

  • At least one year of professional work experience.
  • Employee Benefit industry experience is not required but preferred
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
  • Highly proficient in the basic of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Superior relationship development and customer service skills
  • Undergraduate degree (preferred, but not required)
  • Desire to continually learn new products and services 
Salary Description
$50,000 annual - $70,000 annual
