State Bar of Wisconsin is seeking an Application Support Analyst (hybrid position)
The State Bar of Wisconsin is in search of a skilled Application Support Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can complete projects and tasks with little day-to-day direction. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a small IT shop, communicates well, and is not afraid of a challenge. This person will also value excellent customer service and collaboration equally with technical elegance and skill.
What You Will Do
- Administrate Microsoft 365 environment, including Microsoft Exchange365, Azure, Entra, and related systems.
- Administrate cloud-based applications for security including anti-virus and spam. Maintain the updates, deployment, and the reporting.
- Administrate cloud-based computer inventory and patching systems. Plan, test, schedule and perform software installations and software upgrades, including patches, hot-fixes, and service packs.
- Administrate cloud-based help desk and documentation systems. Configure and modify systems to meet IS requirements and organizational needs.
- Deploy, maintain, and administrate Windows based servers and server applications such as DNS, DHCP, active directory, and IIS.
- Develop, promote, maintain, and document standard operating procedures for hardware builds, operating system installation standards and system configurations.
- Maintain, document, deploy and test business continuity solutions through the use of images, backups and other archival means to assist the deployment and recovery of State Bar workstations and servers, server-based applications and all other data stored on the State Bar servers.
- Deliver efficient help desk services; build rapport with and elicit problem details from help desk customers, provide first-line issue resolution and follow-up and escalate as necessary to ensure successful resolution.

With more than 25,000 members, the State Bar exists to serve its members and the public by promoting the law and access to justice. We aid the courts in improving the administration of justice, provide continuing legal education and other services for our members, support the education of law students, and educate the public about the legal system. The State Bar of Wisconsin also provides public services -- such as attorney referrals and public education – and supports programs that provide reduced-fee legal assistance for low-income state residents.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Two year degree in computer support or equivalent work experience in a Windows environment
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the deployment and support of Microsoft based servers, server based applications and client operation systems and applications
- Strong background in managing server and application backup and recovery applications
- Knowledge and experience managing anti-virus applications
- Advanced knowledge of MSOffice software, email and internet systems
- Knowledge and experience working with TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP and other networking protocols
- Experience supporting network operating systems, server hardware, networking components and infrastructure
- Strong documentation and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $58,700-$70,000. The State Bar of Wisconsin offers competitive compensation with annual merit increases and excellent benefits including:
