Oregon Allergy Associates, of Praxis Health is hiring a Full-Time Allergy Injection Specialist to support our busy allergy clinic. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a high-volume clinical environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering allergy injections accurately and safely
• Monitoring patients for potential reactions and providing immediate support if needed
• Collaborating with providers and medical assistants to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to clinical protocols
• Managing medical supplies and ensuring a clean work environment
• Updating medical records
• Allergy Immunotherapy Administration Tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience & Education

• Background in Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, or Shot Giving required
• Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program in medical assisting highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of injections efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to professionalism, patient safety, and inclusivity
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

General Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings
