Job Overview

The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of human capital management practices.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Oversee employee evaluation processes and performance management initiatives.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA and other employment and labor laws.
- Facilitate change management processes within the organization to support strategic planning goals.
- Handle employee relations issues effectively, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Administer benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as BambooHR for data entry and workforce management.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, payroll information, and other HR documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources roles with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Familiarity with ATS systems such as BambooHR is advantageous.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies to support HR initiatives effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
