Hours:                   31 hours per week         

Shift Pattern: 

Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday 7am - 2:45pm, Friday 4pm - 10:30pm, Sunday 8.30am - 6pm (30 mins unpaid break)

Week 2: Monday and Wednesday 4pm - 10pm, Tuesday 4pm - 10.30pm, Thursday 3:45pm - 10:30pm (30 mins unpaid break)

Week 3: Monday, Thursday and Friday 7am - 2:45pm, Saturday 8am - 5.30pm, Sunday 8am - 6.30pm (30 mins unpaid break)

Salary Band:        £13.64 - £13.79 per hour

Duration:              Fixed Term until March 31st March 2026

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Lifeguards at Strathaven Leisure Centre. You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre, undertaking a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning. 

REQUIREMENTS
 

A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential, with a first aid certificate and previous experience being desirable. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of pool activities

To carry out cleaning to meet defined standards

To ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures.
