Position Overview
We're seeking passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide in-home Behavioral Intervention Services (BIS) and Parent Training for children with developmental disabilities across Nassau County. As a BCBA with Dragonfly Cares, you'll play a key role in developing and overseeing ABA programs that make a measurable difference in children's lives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop individualized ABA treatment plans
Deliver Behavior Intervention Services (BIS) In-home
Provide Parent Counseling and Training (PCT) to support family involvement
Monitor client progress, adjust programming, and document data accordingly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness
Stay current on best practices and ethical standards in ABA
Qualifications
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
1–2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
Preferred Experience
Experience delivering Parent Counseling and Training (PCT)
In-home Behavior Intervention Services (BIS)
Familiarity with data collection tools and ABA software platforms
Schedule
Part-time, with flexible scheduling
Cases typically occur after school, with some before-school morning hours options available.
Compensation
$90–$95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
