The Internal Communications Coordinator is an important member of the Marketing & Communications team and is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies to engage employees and medical staff to support organizational goals, mission and strategic imperatives. This role involves creating and distributing internal communications, managing the intranet, special messages and organizing employee events while working closely with leadership and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and a positive employee experience. This position reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager.Pay Range: $55,931 - $87,256 per year

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field required, 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role required, Proficiency with SharePoint required, Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Develops, implements and evaluates the organization’s internal corporate communication to support the mission and strategic imperatives.
- Plans and manages internal message strategy and execution across the organization in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensures brand image and voice are constantly used and all content uses correct grammar and spelling.
- Oversees internal communications and tactical execution including the intranet (SharePoint), internal newsletter, special messages, desktop, digital monitors, internal special events and other tactics.
- Coordinates medical staff communication newsletter, web and email communications working with medical staff office, PHO and leaders.
- Actively participates and serves on committees as assigned.
Identifies opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and improve our employee experience through emerging tools and technologies.
- Develops and produces employee content to increase awareness and engagement.
- Manages internal special events and awards.
- Conducts market research on industry trends to provide best employee engagement tactics.
Efficiently coordinates multiple projects simultaneously, meets deadlines and is attentive to detail.
- Monitors and communicates progress of projects, tasks and initiatives in a timely manner utilizing the project management system.
- Keeps manager and director informed.
- Evaluates and tracks communication expenses, ROI and effectiveness.
