The Business Analytics Specialist plays a pivotal role in analysing sales market data, evaluating customer purchasing patterns, competitive dynamics, and regional performance to refine sales strategies.

How You'll Create Impact

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Business Analytics & Process Improvement (50%)

  • Recommend business actions by analyzing and interpreting data and conducting comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including through the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  • Maintain a strong analytical foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Communicate effectively with all departments in order to provide proper planning reports and analysis on business trend, KPIs & etc.

Financial Planning & Performance Analysis (30%)

  • Support business forecasting, performance reporting, and tracking of key operational metrics
  • Analyze business and financial data to build decision-support models that inform strategy and planning
  • Prepare performance reports and dashboards for leadership reviews and business updates
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Work closely with the FC to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Evaluate business performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Provide trend-based and forecast-driven recommendations to support sales and operational optimization
