Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, staff management, customer service, and business development activities. This role ensures the branch meets financial goals, delivers exceptional customer experience, maintains compliance with banking regulations, and fosters a culture aligned with the Bank’s Core Values.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties as assigned)
- Lead daily branch operations, including teller and platform functions, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by actively engaging with clients, resolving escalated issues in a timely and accurate manner, and promoting a customer first culture.
- Drive business development initiatives to grow deposits, loans, and other bank products by proactively identifying sales opportunities and referring customers to appropriate specialists.
- Monitor branch performance metrics, prepare reports, and implement strategies to achieve branch results relative to established objectives.
- Oversees security, audit, and risk management procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to safeguard the Bank’s assets.
- Represent the Bank in community and business activities to strengthen visibility and promote positive relationships.
- Recruit, train, coach, and supervise branch staff to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent customer service.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that supports employee engagement, professional development, and accountability.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position provides leadership to branch staff by overseeing daily activities, training and coaching employees, and reviewing work performance. Responsibilities include hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, salary and promotion considerations, and administering disciplinary actions as needed to ensure effective performance and compliance with Bank standards.
Required Experience and Education:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3–5 years of progressive banking experience, including supervisory or leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of retail banking products, operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a strong team.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Proven track record of achieving business development and performance goals.
Equipment, Machines and Software Used:
- Basic Equipment and Machinery: Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, and/or data entry. Ability to create spreadsheets, graphics, and reports using standard software applications.
- Ability to operate a computer, printer, scanner, copier, facsimile machine, telephone, postage meter and calculator.
- Computer Software: Ability to utilize Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and banking systems with the willingness to learn new software, as necessary.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this position, the Branch Manager is regularly required to, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
- The physical requirements of this position call for the ability to lift, move, push, pull, or otherwise exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing accounting duties, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
Environmental Conditions:
There is no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed in a typical office work environment.

The base pay range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
