Job Duties: Vice President, Trade Processing with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Collaborate with Investing team, Asset Managers, Controllers, Legal, technologists, and other operational groups on closing of new transactions, trade booking, funding facilitation, exception management and risk mitigation across the various investing strategizes. Utilize knowledge of multiple asset types, including derivatives (FX, IRP), loans, equities, real estate, hard assets, and bonds across public and private markets. Work with trade lifecycles, execution, position management, and settlement across equity, loans, repos and fixed income asset classes. Partner with the Business and Federation to provide subject matter knowledge in effort to facilitate smooth transaction closings. Ensure all trade economics and payouts are correctly captured in the risk management system. Provide business team support to include ad-hoc queries as well as ongoing business initiatives. Navigate evolving financial regulatory landscape and help to develop technological solutions to build appropriate architecture. Apply process reengineering methodologies in executing strategies and tactical solutions.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with: commercial Real Estate Loans, Equities, Bonds and Derivatives; working with trade lifecycles, execution, position management, and settlement across equity, loans, repos and fixed income asset classes; working with business intelligence tools including Alteryx; navigating risk issues and incidents; and overseeing risk reports and controls to ensure discrepancies are resolved. Prior experience must include two (2) years with: supporting the oversight and approvals for transaction processing including fundings and trade bookings.
