This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for someone passionate about people management, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of 15 to 20 staff, driving a performance culture that is both customer-centric and aligned with our business objectives. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, workforce planning, performance management, and coaching, while also playing a key role in delivering strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the function.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support your team to meet and exceed individual and team KPIs through structured coaching, mentoring, and performance managementFoster a positive team culture focused on first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and complianceManage workflow queues and resourcing to meet service level agreements and business requirementsIdentify process inefficiencies and drive data-informed solutions for operational improvements and automationProvide clear direction, feedback, and development opportunities to build capability and engagement within your teamCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Compliance, Process Design, and external stakeholders including providers and government bodiesAnalyse data and reporting to identify performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesContribute to strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with Bupa's values and regulatory obligationsWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience leading large operational teams in complex environments—preferably within health insurance, financial services, or bankingDemonstrated ability to drive high performance through effective coaching and leadershipStrong understanding of operational management, including resource planning, performance tracking, and workflow optimisationExcellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership styleExperience in navigating regulatory and compliance frameworksAbility to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong stakeholder management skills, both internal and externalThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation where your leadership will have a direct and lasting impact.
