Manchac Technologies is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Manager to support core human resources functions at pharmacy automation facility. This role requires a high level of professional maturity, discretion, and confidentiality, serving as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers while ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance, and a positive workplace experience.


Key Responsibilities


Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants; collaborates with management to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation processes
  • Ensure completion of new hire paperwork and system setup

Benefits Administration

  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions and enrollment as the first point of contact
  • Support annual benefit renewals and open enrollment communications with third-party resource
  • Maintain accurate benefit records and documentation

Employee Support & Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries
  • Provide basic coaching and guidance to new managers
  • Support resolution of routine employee concerns

Training & HR Compliance

  • Stays informed of Regulatory updates and HR best practices; communicates relevant changes in employment law, company policies, or HR procedures to managers and ensures proper implementation.
  • Monitor and track completion of required training programs
  • Ensure HIPAA training follow-through and documentation
  • Maintain compliance records and support audits

Performance Management

  • Communicate timelines and expectations for annual reviews
  • Follow up with managers to ensure completion of evaluations
  • Support documentation and goal-setting processes

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and engagement activities
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

HR Systems & Administration

  • Maintain employee records and data in HRIS (Paylocity preferred)
  • Generate reports and support HR documentation needs
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of HR files


Requirements

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • SHRM or PHR Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing environment or relevant industry with employee populations of 50+
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity ideal)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HIPAA compliance
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
