Duties
You will serve as Security Specialist to the Electronic Attack Weapons School CO and Govt. Special Access Security Officer.,You will initiate procedures and instructions to ensure compliance with special project requirements.,You will interpret and define policy guidelines to achieve and monitor project effectiveness.,You will promulgate detailed policy, organizational, and logistical support to assure maximum security for the protections of classified information.,You will plan, manage, implement, evaluate, and adapt physical and administrative security projects.,You will be responsible for the physical security of all facility spaces, information and materials.,You will direct the performance of random facility entrance and exit searches to enforce security regulations.,You will prepare and maintain written procedures and guidelines based on DOD (Department of Defense) and SECNAV (Secretary of the Navy) directives for accounting and control requirements.,Functions as the GSSO (Government Special Access Security Officer) during the GSSO’s absence.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing security oversight by ensuring administration and coordination of Personnel, Physical, Information and Industrial Security actions for special projects within an aviation command. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR Possession of an LL.M., if related; A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
