RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership, supervision, direction, and training to Line Operations staff, developing a knowledgeable and highly skilled workforce.
- Collaborates with staff to plan, prioritize, schedule, and direct daily activities consistently and effectively.
- Ensures compliance with union contracts and optimizes operational performance with a focus on safety and risk management.
- Allocates resources (people, equipment, and material) appropriately to achieve Company goals related to customer service, reliability, and safety.
- Acts as a single point of contact for staff to address and resolve personnel challenges consistently and fairly.
- Assists in administering the line operations budget.
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain working relationships.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- High school graduate or equivalent with additional vocational courses in electricity and related overhead line distribution.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Eight or more years job-related work experience, which may include Supervisory duties and or other job-related experience.
- An in-depth knowledge of union contracts and regulations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
- This position is expected to report in person to the specified location..
- This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- The expected annual compensation range for this position is $101,000 - $126,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
