The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. This includes managing staff, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly, and identifying areas for improvement. The Operations Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure that the company is meeting its goals and objectives. Must have P&L managemetn and experience growing an operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all goals are aligned and met
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or we will consider related experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience working in an engineering or technical environment in a service driven company
- Experience working in any of the following industries:
- 5+ years of experience as a GM/OM with P&L management
- Customer interfacing and sales/BD experience
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance (OSHA, NFP70E)
