Reports To: Kindergarten Teacher and Principal
Hours: 30 hours per week/$15 per hour

Position Summary:
The Kindergarten Classroom Aide supports the lead teacher in creating a Christ-centered, nurturing, and
engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who desires to lead children to Jesus by
being a bona fide believer, a seeker who surrenders with a servant’s heart.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
Provide individual and small-group support to students, especially in early literacy, math, and faith
formation.
Model and encourage Christ-like behavior, prayer, and reverence in the classroom.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Support students in developing social-emotional skills rooted in Gospel values.
Supervise students during recess, lunch, and transitions as needed.
Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and faith-based activities.
Collaborate with the teacher and staff to foster a joyful, mission-driven school culture.
Qualifications:
A practicing Catholic who actively seeks to grow in faith and live out the Gospel.
A heart for young children and a desire to serve with humility and joy.
Experience working with children in an educational or ministry setting preferred.
Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Must pass background checks and complete diocesan safe environment training.
