Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures (cleanings, sealants, x-rays, restorative work, sedation, etc.).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms.
• Help ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
• Greet and comfort young patients, helping them feel at ease.
• Explain procedures to children in a calm, kid-friendly manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification in Nevada (CDA, RDA preferred) or equivalent training.
• Prior experience with pediatric patients strongly preferred (including behavior management or sedation protocols).
• Strong interpersonal skills—patience, enthusiasm, and kid-friendly communication style.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
• Comfortable using dental x-ray equipment, charting systems, and standard dental tools.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
