Position Summary
T1 Energy is seeking a Training and Development Coordinator to support the execution and tracking of training programs at our high-volume solar module manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining training documentation, and assisting with employee development initiatives to ensure compliance, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support onboarding sessions for new hires, including safety orientation and introduction to production processes.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of training materials (manuals, visual aids, sign-in sheets, and digital resources).
- Track training completion, certifications, and employee participation using internal systems and tools; maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Schedule and organize training sessions across various shifts to ensure full team coverage.
- Collaborate with trainers, supervisors, and department leads to identify training needs and schedule appropriate sessions.
- Support translation of training materials and communications for Spanish-speaking employees.
- Assist with delivering group training sessions or one-on-one instruction as needed.
- Help coordinate cross-training and skills development programs to enhance workforce flexibility.
- Monitor training feedback and escalate areas of concern to the Training Supervisor for follow-up or process improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Industrial Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in a training or administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
- Basic knowledge of instructional techniques and adult learning principles is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple training schedules and records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based environment and interact with both office and floor-level staff.
Work Environment
- Combination of office and production floor settings; frequent standing, walking, and movement required.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing may be required while on the floor.
Schedule
- Full-time, hourly
- May require occasional evening or weekend sessions to accommodate multiple shifts
