What You’ll Do
- Apply a strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70E, NFPA 101, and NFPA 820.
- Ensure all designs and reviews meet industry standards and safety requirements.
- Lead and support the preparation of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) contract drawing packages in AutoCAD.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, perform field inspections, and support startup and commissioning activities.
- Lead, review, and interpret power system studies and arc flash studies.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients throughout design and construction.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Experience with SKM for electrical power distribution modeling a plus.
What We’re Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required – Arizona preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical and industrial controls engineering experience, ideally in the water/wastewater industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience producing EI&C contract drawing packages in AutoCAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and control descriptions a plus.
