Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, ethical, and safety-oriented Air Conditioning Technician. The Air Conditioning Technician must complete tasks in accordance with all mechanical codes, job specifications, plans, and contract documents, resulting in a complete and proper working system. Qualified candidates must be able to install all types of commercial and residential HVAC equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform proper runs of line sets
- Install refrigeration equipment per proper code
- Perform proper startup of refrigeration equipment
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
- Complete necessary paperwork: daily reports, AWA’s, and RFI’s
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards.
- Cooperate with other trades on the project to complete the project
- Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area.
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected to meet the requirements of this position
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent, or tenured experience.
- Perform proper runs of line sets
- Install refrigeration equipment per proper code
- Perform proper startup of refrigeration equipment
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
- Complete necessary paperwork: daily reports, AWA’s, and RFI’s
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards.
- Ability to work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy, and hazardous areas.
- Ability to work in high places, tight places, confined spaces, and/or other adverse locations.
- Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 lbs. frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: $30.00-$50.00 per hour, depending on experience.
