REPORTS TO:  Director of Guidance Services

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  

 

Responsible for computerized and cumulative student records, including report cards, transcripts and generation of statistical data for district and state reporting functions. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.  PowerSchool security officer for MCHS. 

 

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Responsible for enrolling and withdrawing students

  2.  

    Maintains transcripts and enters new student transcript information

  3.  

    Tracking of students who withdraw from MCHS

  4.  

    Responsible for sending out student report cards

  5.  

    Prepare and mail transcripts to colleges, for scholarships, and NCAA

  6.  

    Ensure that NCAA approves all MCHS core courses yearly

  7.  

    Generates statistical data for in house use, CDE reports, and audit needs

  8.  

    Power School Computer Security Officer for MCHS

  9.  

    Course Registration / Master Schedule – computer set up

  10.  

    Creation of new courses and sections

  11.  

    Ensures that guidelines are followed for NCAA, CDE, FERPA and Social Security

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education and Certification:

·  High School Diploma (required)

Experience and Skills:

·  Excellent communication skills

·  General office equipment

·  Technical proficiency in word processing and computers
