SUMMARY:

Assist in the professional and smooth operation of the Staff Resources Department’s programs and services by supporting staff in providing services and general office support.

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required: 

  • Prefer Associate’s degree with Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent as determined by administration)
  • Advanced secretarial skills, including:
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrated experience with electronic calendaring
  • Minimum three (3) years work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Excellent receptionist skills
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Experience working with organizational budgets
  • Valid drivers license

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration
  • Desktop publishing experience
  • Database knowledge/experience
  • Work experience in an educational environment 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

250 days             

Grade = D, Hourly, non-exempt
