Job Summary:

The Sales Director for the UK & Ireland (UKI) will be responsible for driving Supermicro’s growth and market share in the region by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the technology sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the UK Enterprise business and lead the team servicing the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI), Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT), Healthcare and Education (HER), and Public Sector customer segments.
  • Manage the assigned quota, oversee the opportunity pipeline, and drive the execution of corporate growth strategies and actions for these segments.
  • Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with key enterprise customers in FSI, TMT, HER, and Public Sector.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a newly formed team to achieve outstanding performance and success.
  • Proactively enhance brand influence, promote technology adoption, and drive solutions within the assigned customer segments, collaborating with sales and technical teams.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring regular attendance at our Reading office.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience leading teams of 7+ experienced salespeople in business development, public sector, or enterprise sales within the IT/datacentre industry.
  • Minimum 10+ years of successful individual contributor experience in the IT/datacentre sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration abilities.
  • Highly proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Professional demeanour with a passion for innovative solutions.
