As the Global Procure to Pay Operations Lead Indirect Procurement at Lam, you will lead and execute the global procure-to-pay (P2P) process for indirect procurement, ensuring efficient and cost-effective purchasing, payment, and master data management. This role involves developing and implementing P2P strategies, optimizing procurement processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and cost savings. Your leadership will be crucial in navigating a dynamic environment and supporting the company's strategic goals.

- Develop and Implement P2P Strategies: Create and execute global P2P strategies and buying channels for indirect procurement categories.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize the P2P process, including procurement, invoicing, and payment workflows.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with P2P strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance P2P processes.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with buying channels and procurement activities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on P2P activities and performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of P2P procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize P2P workflows.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Align P2P strategies with internal stakeholder needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance P2P processes through best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in P2P and related procurement activities.
- Reporting: Provide insights and updates on P2P performance.
- Team Leadership: Guide and develop a team of procurement professionals.
Who we’re looking for
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, shared services, operations management or related area and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in eProcurement and eSourcing tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications:
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or PMP are highly desirable.
Preferred qualifications
- Leadership: Demonstrated people leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of procurement.
- Extensive experience in indirect procurement within a complex, multinational environment.
- Strong proficiency across the end-to-end procurement process.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence internal stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
- Experience applying procurement governance, standards, and policies (e.g., SOPs, compliance frameworks).
- Solid understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in a global setting.
- Strategic mindset paired with strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and decision-making skills.
- High resilience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, international business context.
- Change management awareness and willingness to foster a culture of performance, ethics, and collaboration.
- Fluent English is a must; additional languages are an asset.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
