Gage Marine Corporation in Delavan, WI is looking for a skilled Photographer/Videographer Marketing Intern who can support our marketing efforts through consistent and high-quality content creation. The ideal candidate will film, edit, and produce engaging videos showcasing the restaurant's dining experiences, Lake Life activities, special events, and seasonal boat cruises. Show potential customers how Lake Life Begins with Gage through photos, videos, and amazing content for all channels of marketing. The candidate should feel comfortable interacting with customers and providing good customer service during filming or photo shoots. They will know how to direct people to get the best photo or video possible.
This internship will pay $18-$20 per hour, based on experience and portfolio. This internship offers the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role for the right candidate

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER MARKETING INTERN
Work with the Marketing Manager and Creative Content Manager to understand the campaigns for the different business units under Gage Marine Corporation and then create photo and video content to support the marketing campaigns. Take photos and videos of both customers at the different business locations engaged with our services as well as plan and execute staged photo shoots.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Photographer/Videographer Marketing Intern will support the marketing team by capturing, editing, and organizing visual content for various marketing channels. This role provides hands-on experience in producing engaging photos and videos, maintaining a consistent brand aesthetic, and managing digital assets effectively.
Content Capturing:
- Assist in planning and executing photo and video shoots for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications.
- Capture high-quality images and videos at events, promoting programs, services, and special events.
- Support all stages of production, including setting up equipment, scouting locations, and assisting with shoots.
Photo and Video Editing:
- Edit and format visual content to maintain brand guidelines and style across various platforms.
- Perform color correction, cropping, resizing, and retouching as needed for photos and videos.
- Utilize photo and video editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
Digital Asset Management and Cataloging:
- Organize and maintain a robust photo and video library for print and digital content.
- Implement efficient cataloging and tagging systems for easy retrieval of media assets.
- Ensure proper archiving and storage of digital files according to organizational standards.
Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content strategy, brainstorming ideas, and creating visual content aligned with marketing goals.
- Assist in preparing and formatting content for different platforms like websites, social media, and email marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER MARKETING INTERN
- Motivation and drive to capture the best photos and videos and create outstanding marketing content to promote Gage company businesses
- 2+ years of proven experience (portfolio required) as a photographer, videographer, video editor, or content creator, showcasing a strong understanding of video production techniques, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
- Proficiency in operating cameras/video cameras, lighting equipment, audio tools, and photo/ video editing software
- Strong knowledge of photography, videography, and editing techniques, such as color grading, audio mixing, and video compression
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the marketing team and other stakeholders
- Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and informative video content
- Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Extensive experience developing TikTok posts, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A MARKETING INTERN
This part-time intern position would work 15-25 hours per week. Nights and weekends will be required as needed.
