We are seeking a detail-oriented, security-minded System Administrator to support our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role includes hands-on administration of Windows domain services, Microsoft 365, storage and backup systems, and endpoint management tools in secure and compliance-regulated environments such as Gov Cloud (GCC-High), FedRAMP, and NIST 800-171. This position is ideal for someone with foundational system administration skills who’s looking to grow into a Senior or Principal System Administrator, while directly contributing to infrastructure standardization and operations, and critical IT projects including Windows OS migrations, identity and access management, and certificate-based security. U.S. Citizenship is required.

 

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Administer and support Active Directory, including user/group management, permissions, and GPOs with an emphasis on secure access. 
  • Manage Azure services including Exchange Online, Teams with Enterprise Voice (EV), SharePoint, and other collaboration tools — especially in GCC-High / Gov Cloud environments. 
  • Administer Microsoft Certificate Authority and on-premises PKI infrastructure, including certificate template management, enrollment policies, lifecycle monitoring, and troubleshooting. 
  • Support identity and access management solutions including RSA SecurID, MFA, conditional access policies, and secure authentication protocols. 
  • Plan and support Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration initiatives with compliance and endpoint protection considerations. 
  • Endpoint management including Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Software Center for software deployment, patch management, and compliance reporting. 
  • Monitor and manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, and IP address allocation. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Layers 1-4 of the TCP Stack 
  • Administer and support NetApp storage and Rubrik backup platforms with a focus on data integrity and disaster recovery readiness. 
  • Knowledge of endpoint protection, antivirus, anti-malware, and EDR solutions  
  • Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and system updates in line with security baselines. 
  • Support mobile device management (MDM) platforms and remote access solutions. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and access-related issues for end users and systems. 
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and compliance-related artifacts. 
  • Participate in internal IT projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and technology rollouts. 
  • Assist in compliance tasks, including evidence gathering for audits, and maintaining systems aligned to FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-171, FIPS, and ITAR standards. 

 

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen; permanent residence and visa sponsorship will not be considered. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. 
  • Equivalent technical experience and certifications considered. 
  • Hands-on experience managing Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and domain infrastructure. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) commercial administration, preference for GCC-High or other Gov Cloud environments. 
  • Experience administering Microsoft Certificate Authority / PKI infrastructure in an on-premises Windows domain. 
  • Experience managing MECM, Software Center for system deployment, inventory, and compliance. 
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and IP Stack. 
  • Familiarity with RSA SecurID, MFA, and access control technologies. 
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations. 
  • Experience Managing storage and backup operations. 
  • Knowledge of or exposure to FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, FIPS, and ITAR compliance environments. 
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to clearly record system configurations, procedures, and audit responses. 
  • Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail. 
  • Strong scripting ability 
  • Ability to manage tickets, resolve incidents, and support users in a secure, regulated environment. 
  • Proven project management 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Security Fundamentals, or equivalent. 
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp storage and Rubrik backup platforms. 
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Voice (EV) in Microsoft Teams or other UC/telephony systems. 
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) via Intune and remote administration tools. 
  • Participation in security audits, incident response, or vulnerability remediation workflows. 
  • Ability to use PowerShell
