About the Department
This is an administrative position that is responsible for managing a broad range of recreational and educational programs and activities for the community, under the general direction of the Recreation Services Manager; the position is responsible for developing, coordinating, planning and supervising programs, policies, facilities and employees to staff the programs and activities.
Title: Recreation Supervisor – Aquatics, Fitness & Community Engagement
Department: Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry
Reports To: Recreation Services Manager
Wage: $35.9874 per hour ($74,853.75 annually)
Tentative Start Date: October 28, 2025

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements of Work | |
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation/Parks Management, Education, Business or a closely related field, supplemented by at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, developing and delivery of recreation services at an administrative level; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability and skills: | |

Necessary Special Requirements | |
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license; ability to pass a criminal background check; CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of employment; Food Safety Manager required or ability to obtain within twelve months of employment; Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification desired. | |
