Certified Medical Assistant – Pediatric Clinic
Location: Lander, WY
Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is seeking a caring and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about children’s health, provides compassionate patient care, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting providers with pediatric patient care and clinical procedures
Obtaining and recording patient vital signs, growth measurements, and medical histories
Administering immunizations and medications as directed by providers
Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
Performing basic lab tests and processing specimens
Supporting providers with patient education and family communication
Coordinating patient flow and assisting with front desk duties as needed
Qualifications:
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Previous pediatric or family practice experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, team-oriented, and dependable
