Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA)

• Hourly Wage:  $17.00/hr + benefits
• Shift:  3p-11p
• Schedule: Part time, with an every other weekend rotation

What you will do in this role: The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) is responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting.  The PRSA will participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA):  officially we title this job a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide, but in other centers it may be called a PRSA, Mental or Behavioral Health Aide, Mental Health Tech, Social Services Aide, Psychiatric Aide. 

What we need from you:

• Ideally - prior experience as a PRSA in healthcare center is preferred
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• CNA with a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
