This role in summary
Whirlpool is are seeking qualified candidates for a Representative, Supply & Logistics opening to join our Parts Operations team within the Consumer and Appliance Care organization. This role will be located onsite at our Riverview Campus.
In this role you will drive outstanding commitment to our consumers, expediting materials needed to support the ExPart process, by working closely with the supply base, internal process partners and part distributor network. Coordinate timely shipments of materials to meet required delivery expectations, while providing accurate and timely communication related to part status, including relative shipment tracking for use by both internal and external customers, ultimately helping to build brand loyalty and avoid negative impact to Total Cost of Quality.
Your responsibilities will include
- Provide timely communication and excellent customer service to internal/external customers in all world regions
- Expedite materials to avoid product exchanges and strengthen customer loyalty
- Adhere to applicable policies and procedures to further drive cost savings for Whirlpool
- Work in an exciting team environment, learning and sharing best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve Whirlpool's business performance
- Interact with various levels of management, internal/external customers and internal/external suppliers
- Continuously work to standardize and improve departmental processes, eliminate waste, and reduce cost
- Assist with projects and reports as necessary
Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of Supply Chain experience
Preferred skills and experiences
- Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal), pay high attention to detail, be flexible, able to prioritize workload, and make sound data-driven decisions in a timely manner
- Proficiency in Google Chrome/Microsoft Office tools
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Work through complex tasks
- Good analytical skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in PC applications including MS Office, Google Apps, and SAP
- Demonstrated organizational and decision-making skills
