Accounting Manager

Job Objective: 

Leadership of local Accounting teams and management of all accounting tasks regarding the legal entity in line with legal (commercial and taxes) and internal requirements.  

Description of Main Tasks:

• Develop and implement local accounting strategy/plan based on group and regional guidelines and standards. 
• Develop and establish effective and efficient local management structure and processes based on group standards.
• Develop and empower local Accounting team. 
• Functional and disciplinary leadership of local Accounting team/employees. 
• Implement and establish group accounting standards and best practices and tools in consideration of needed local adjustments.  
• Secure effective and efficient accounting and audit processes. 
• Manage/lead HR-related issues (target process, appraisal interview, salary, etc.). 
• Strong collaboration with General Manager of legal entity. 

Skills and Competencies: 

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Accounting, MBA or comparatively practical experience as accountant. 
• About 5 years of professional experience as Accounting Manager in an industrial company. 
• About 3 years of work experience within an international environment. 
• Leadership experience and cross cultural thinking. 
• English language on C1-C2 level (person is able to express himself/herself spontaneously, fluently and precisely).
