SUMMARY:
Namify’s Laser Machine Operator position will be responsible for the workflow of orders to Quality Control Processors. Ensuring all orders are produced and sent to clients on time. The Machine Operator will need to be a problem solver to assist our clients. This position is hands on with long periods of standing.
JOB RESPONSIBILIES:
- Operate laser engraving machines to maximum efficiency
- Hit labor standards while producing quality goods for our clients
- Communicate with other departments to ensure information is consistent
- Follow sales orders to ensure products are made properly
- Read and understand order flows
- Monitor machines for problems and troubleshoot problems
- Check raw materials for quality before processing
- Prepare raw materials to be loaded into the machine
- Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers
- Follow production instructions to ensure quality
- Carry out basic calculations with aid of a computer and calculator
- Follow written instructions and batch records
- Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards
- Complete relevant documentation
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area
- All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School degree preferred
- Minimum of 18 years of age

SCHEDULE:
- Monday-Friday, 4:00PM - 12:00PM (Evening Shift)
*One month Day training period: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Day Shift)
WORK SPACE INFO:
This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
