Title 1 Teacher Assistant - Union Chapel Elementary
NOTE: This position requires two things:
1. A Missouri Substitute Certificate, which can be obtained by completing an application through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education at www.dese.mo.gov.
2. Either 36 college credit hours or 20 hours of online instruction through Frontline or Kelly Education and a high school diploma. More information can be found at www.dese.mo.gov.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed teachers by reinforcing lessons with patience and creativity
- Implement targeted interventions and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Create an enriching, safe, and inclusive environment where every student feels supported
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to refine educational plans
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and the school community
The Ideal Candidate:
- Missouri Substitute Certificate
- Experience working with elementary/middle school students in an educational setting
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds and skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
