We are looking for a Finance Director to be responsible for the Financial Forecast, Planning and Analysis of the NAR Broadband BU ($1.1B Revenue). This is a hybrid position and candidates must be in our Claremont, NC office at least two days a week.

 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As an individual contributor in this role, you will be part of the management team, directly supporting the General Manager, Product Line Management, R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams.  Your responsibilities include:

  • Build monthly P&L Forecast, annual Plan and Long-Range Plan updates.
  • Provide full P&L analysis, support strategic and profit-improvement activities, support special projects and ad-hoc requests.
  • Drive financial accountability into the NAR Broadband management team.
  • Drive material cost analysis and monitor the impact of commodity prices.
  • Collaborate closely with 1) other finance functions, e.g., Corporate FP&A, Supply Chain finance, Sales finance, Cost Accounting and Finance Systems teams and 2) various Supply Chain functions.       
  • Support and drive process improvements, innovation and digitalization in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Support various special projects and ad hoc requests, e.g. S&OP analysis, Cost Saving projects, Inventory improvement plans, Capital investments, Standard Costing updates.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
  • 8 or more years of relevant experience in accounting and finance within a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • System knowledge: SAP, BO, EPBCS (HFM).
  • Experience working with senior leadership teams.
  • Proven track record in driving value and financial results across an organization.
  • Ability to pivot between 1) hands-on, granular financial analysis and 2) helicopter-view, strategic mindset.
  • Experience in scenario modeling, return-on-investment analysis, and developing financial business cases.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written.

 

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Master’s degree or a CPA.
  • Experience in international business practices.
  • Prior exposure to Supply Chain finance and/or process manufacturing costing.
  • High level of integrity, enthusiasm, persistence and leadership skills.
  • Strong business partnering and presentation skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, ambition to grow career and expand scope.
  • Strong communicating skills and the ability to build bridges across functions.
  • System oriented, structured, data-driven mindset embracing change and innovation.
  • Experience with Power BI.
