About the Role:
Are you passionate about helping students succeed academically? We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic At-Home Tutor to provide one-on-one academic support. While this role requires general subject tutoring, a strong background in high school-level math (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and beyond) is essential.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized tutoring sessions in various school subjects, with a focus on math.
Help the students develop and strengthen their study skills, time management, and problem-solving strategies.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the students’ unique learning styles and academic needs.
Track progress and provide feedback to the student and parents.
Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in high school-level math (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and possibly Calculus).
Ability to assist with general school subjects (English, Science, Social Studies, etc.).
Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, patient, and organized.
Schedule & Compensation:
Schedule: Approximately 5 hours per week (schedule may be flexible).
Location: In-person at the student’s home in Leeds, Utah
Pay: $35 - $50 an hour.
