As part of our growth into original digital content, Sinclair, Inc. is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team who will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our multi-platform brands.

As Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Associate Creative Director and VP of Social Strategy & Digital Content to bring bold, visually driven ideas to life across a variety of platforms to build brand identities from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on creative with a sharp eye for design, an instinct for what performs in the digital space, and the ability to translate brand strategy into standout visuals. If you're a versatile designer who enjoys working across genres—from sports to true crime to pop culture—and loves creating content that gets noticed, this role is for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Associate Creative Director to design assets across multiple platforms, including social, video, podcasts, and editorial.
  • Work closely with creative leads to develop and evolve brand identities for new and existing franchises.
  • Develop static and motion graphics for a wide range of digital formats (YouTube thumbnails, IG carousels, Reels, promos, and more).
  • Design clean, reusable toolkits and templates with organized, layered files that junior editors and producers can easily update across platforms.
  • Translate brand identities into consistent, scroll-stopping visuals tailored to each channel and audience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance creative output.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and bring ideas to the table from concept through execution.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all projects while adapting to different voices and aesthetics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a digital design role, preferably in media, entertainment, or agency settings.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and social media work.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Canva, and familiarity with tools like Figma, Capsule, or Slate.
  • Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent typography, layout, and color skills with obsessive attention to detail.
  • Motion design or basic video editing skills are a plus.

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $31.25 to $37.50. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a quarterly performance-based bonus. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
