About The Opportunity
The Die Cutter Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
2. Demonstrate constant awareness of safety practices and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor
3. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
4. Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements
5. Assist with mounting Dies
6. Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end
7. Assist with decision regarding the quality of finished product
8. Palletize stacks of finished product on Pallets
9. Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
10. Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance
11. Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary
12. Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
13. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner

5. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
7. Average math skills
8. Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in English
9. Ability to be both a self-starter and team-oriented
This position will be on 2nd shift, 3pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday with expected weekend work.
Starting pay rate Level 1 $25.12 (Training) Level 2 $26.17 (Completion of Training)
