TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Commissioning Engineer (Process) to join our team working at our Kwinana plant on a 2 year max term contract.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading commissioning activities for brownfield projects, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operational according to design specifications and safety standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop and implement commissioning procedures, ITRs, and plans.
  • Maintain accurate completion records and ensure proper handover documentation.
  • Provide input to execution strategy and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate interfaces between commissioning, engineering, operations, construction, and OEMs.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
  • Contribute to meetings and prepare reports on commissioning status.
  • Support schedule tracking and cost control.
  • Apply lessons learned and corrective actions to improve future projects.

 

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Tertiary degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in commissioning roles within processing facilities.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and completions systems.
  • Familiarity with Australian engineering and construction standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak phases.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with digital technologies in project execution.

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
