Your Responsibilites:
- Manage factory development with utilization of floorspace usage and factory utilization.
- Create and coordinate the implementation of production hall layouts, R&D, Supply Chain and/or Sales and Administration site layouts.
- Measure site manufacturing feasibility of products to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support and develop strategic site planning, factory and layout planning.
- Support production to identify and solve production issues sustainably and initiate and conduct troubleshooting based on production data using statistical and digital measures.
- Lead and coordinate product line relocations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and innovations into site layouts.
- Develop material flow and layout metrics to drive factory efficiency with the cross-functional teams (manufacturing, operations…)
- Coordinate factory capability needs for yield improvements and new technology
- Create required manufacturing process documentation (process parameter sheets, process release documents, process, process, process, and work instructions,) and supports process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, cycle time analysis and line balancing.
- Participate in Safety and Ergonomic improvements
- Lead manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, on time delivery and safety
- Support the 5-Year Strategic Roadmap (Space and Capacity)
- Increase space density in the factory, eliminating non-value-add space, movement, or processes
- Develop strategic plan for factory space, manpower, equipment, and automation.
- Distill many inputs into a few: delivering world-class decision support for senior leaders and executives
- Act as the liaison with Plant staff corporate functions for Space and Capacity Planning
- Steer alignment of capacity demand, budget and investment projects.
- Support bids, proposals, and participate in new business introductions.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance according to the respective local authorities and ESH guidelines.
- Create and maintain IE documentation, drawings, and specifications in compliance with industry standards.
- Develop or participate in the development of project schedules. Monitor schedule milestones, track progress and implement schedule recovery efforts when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement of operations across the value stream.
- Manage one or more projects to support and coordinate the trouble-free startup of new products.
Your Qualificiations:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 Years experience in industrial engineering or facility management
- Knowledge of factory planning and facility lifecycle concept
- Experience in AutoCAD, VIstable or equivalent
- SAP Integrated Business Planning (capacity tool) - Preferred
- Knowledge in OEE, capacity planning, cycle time analysis, and line balancing
- Proficiency with Data Analytics, Excel, and Power BI
- Proven success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Prioritizing and balancing short-term objectives with a long-term strategy
- Ability to define, track, and report success metrics across the organization, including top-level management
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles (Process Improvement and methods optimization)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
