SHIPPING FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Duties:
- Operate single and double fork forklifts to load finished goods onto trucks.
- Assist with monitoring staging areas for shipments, ensure there are numbered trailer seals and ensure pre-loading trailer inspections are performed on all loads.
- Scan pallets, read orders and communicate with truck drivers.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting daily pallet inventories.
- Report daily forklift safety inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Housekeeping inside and outside of dock areas by sweeping, mopping, or removing trash.
- May assist with daily shipping paperwork (Bill of Lading) and reporting.
Monday - Friday 9:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
Sunday - Thursday 6:00 P.M. - 2:30 A.M.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Forklift operating experience
- Experience with loading and unloading trucks
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Safe forklift record
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Ability to count and track product
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
