We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Development Manager – East Coast Gas Grid to join our team in Sydney, NSW on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be leading a high-performance matrix team to originate projects to final investment decision and deliver on time, on budget project development requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originates new gas transmission and storage infrastructure projects with customers
  • Builds and maintains budgets and schedules for pre-FID activities
  • Developing and maintaining project specific investment case financial models
  • Assurance that infrastructure complies with customer approvals and planning requirements and assurance that solution design and delivery approach meets customer requirements
  • Ensuring high cadence customer interface and negotiating customer agreements

Your background 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in a leadership discipline overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Extensive experience working within the gas industry
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian codes and statutory requirements
