About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional early in their career who is eager to develop strong client relationship and event coordination skills. The Sales Support Associate will play a key role in connecting project finance consultants with existing financial partners, uncovering opportunities for future collaboration, and supporting the planning and execution of small-scale interactive events across the country. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to a curated list of known partners, with the goal of nurturing relationships and identifying future opportunities.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and support logistics for industry conferences and smaller customer events and meetings nationwide.
  • Assist the sales team with research, preparation, and follow-up related to client interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, customer communications, and event details in CRM systems.
  • Support the team to ensure the sales process runs smoothly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely and  professional manner.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development, customer relations, or event coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus).
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support customer events.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) or community development finance.
