Human Resources Business Partner – Associate Director (New York, NY)
Plan, implement, and direct HR programs, projects, and policies in the division to align with global HR initiatives and objectives. Support enrollment of new hire and termination processes for NY, UK, and Mexico employees in the SAP system. Advise on people-related issues, i.e., talent management, employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training. Coordinate the payroll process in Mexico according to local labor regulations. Facilitate relationships with Mexican labor unions to negotiate new agreements and seek more benefits for employees. Coordinate the timely submission of employer information to local regulators (IMSS, SHCP, CNBV, AMIB, MEXDER, STPS). Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, termination letters, and separation agreements. Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development. Evaluate employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly. Manage Immigration process for US Transfers and following the timelines with the lawyers to ensure cases are up to date.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a similar discipline and five years of HR department work experience.
- Proficiency with SAP Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Knowledge of HR functions in the financial services field regarding, compensation, benefits, recruitment, training and development, employee relations, company policy, and communication.
- Knowledge of Mexican labor regulations impacting financial services including pay, hours, and securities.
- Knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Laws, e.g., ISR Law (Income Tax), Social Security Law, Payroll Tax Law, NOM-035 Official Mexican Standard for Safety and Health at Work, NOM-037 Mexican Official Standard on Teleworking, NIFD-3 Financial Information Standard.

Salary: $147,873.00 to $150,000.00 per year.
