Do you like being in an active, outdoor setting? Engage with adults and children alike? Montgomery County Parks, Enterprise Division, is currently seeking dynamic, energetic, fun seasonal/intermittent applicants to fill our exciting position at South Germantown Driving Range, located within the South Germantown Recreation Park. Work hours are flexible to include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Driving Range is open year-round
Position Duties
Driving Range Attendant/Cashier (Starts @ $15.45/hr)
Cashiers are responsible for the collection of admission and course registration fees and serve as the facility's first point-of-contact for customer questions and/or concerns. Perform basic computer functions (e.g. data entry capabilities), have a pleasant demeanor, and be knowledgeable of facility programs, fees, and policies. Performs routine tasks associated with various recreation programs and activities at a driving range facility including operating a golf ball picker, cleaning and maintenance, and cleaning of equipment along with assisting with set-up and take down of archery equipment.
Qualifications: Cash handling experience preferred. Valid driver's license, weekend and evening work is required. Minimum age: 18
Other Qualifications
This position is seasonal (part-time) and do not include benefits. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications.
All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills, attain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (training classes available) and attend in-house orientation.
Ongoing continued training and internal growth opportunities available.
