We are offering a pivotal opportunity to shape the firm’s approach to Foreign Jurisdiction litigation, providing strategic leadership while maintaining a personal caseload. If you are passionate about delivering excellence in legal representation and driving operational improvements, we would love to hear from you

The role....

Thompsons Solicitors is seeking an experienced National Coordinator for Foreign Jurisdiction cases to lead a national team of case handlers based in the North West, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal advice to Trade Unions, their members, and private clients. This role involves overseeing the management of the firm’s Foreign Jurisdiction cases handled by the team, devising policies, systems, and best practices for case handling, and driving efficient and cost-effective processes that maximise damages and costs.

You will be responsible for case reviews across the team, acting as a national spokesperson on Foreign Jurisdiction litigation and briefing senior union officials and politicians on legal developments. In addition to coordinating and developing the team, you will conduct a number of cases independently, requiring minimal supervision.

Who we are looking for.....

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in personal injury and disease litigation, extensive expertise in conducting and supervising all types of cross-border cases, and a strong ability to implement training and best practices. Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and leadership skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Admitted solicitors, FILEX-qualified individuals, or those with equivalent practical experience are encouraged to apply.
