Job Description:Link Solutions Inc. is seeking a Continuity of Operations (COOP) Registration Authority/Local Registration Authority (LRA) to join our team in Camp Pendleton, CA.

- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
Our COOP Registration Authority/Local Registration Authority (LRA) will support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Program under the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG). This role ensures operational readiness and continuity of PKI services at Camp Pendleton, supporting the issuance, management, and revocation of digital certificates and maintaining seamless PKI operations during contingencies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as both a primary LRA and a designated Continuity of Operations (COOP) Registration Authority.
- Execute PKI certificate lifecycle activities, including issuance, revocation, and management of end-user, server, administrator, and code-signing certificates.
- Perform CAC and SIPRNet token PIN resets and key recovery.
- Provide Alternate Token and Trusted Agent support.
- Operate in compliance with DoD, NSS, and USMC PKI policies and Certificate Practice Statements (CPS).
- Maintain documentation and tracking of all PKI transactions (e.g., logbooks, SharePoint, Remedy).
- Support field PKI activities, including system integration with Programs of Record (PORs).
- Act as liaison between MCCOG and local users to resolve PKI-related issues and provide user support.
- Contribute to LRA audits and readiness efforts, ensuring site compliance and assisting with operational improvements.
- Provide monthly reports to the USMC RA regarding certificate issuance metrics and field issues.

Qualifications:- U.S. Citizen
- Active or obtainable Secret DoD Clearance
- Minimum two (2+) years of experience supporting PKI operations in a DoD or federal agency environment
Certifications:
- IA Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CISSP) equivalent or higher
- ISC² CAP (Certified Authorization Professional)
- DoD/NSS Local Registration Authority (LRA) Certification
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations
Preferred
- Experience using Remedy or similar ticketing systems for incident tracking.
- Familiarity with Purebred mobile certificate deployment.
- Understanding of the certificate lifecycle, RA roles, and operational PKI integration.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills in high-visibility environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next 2 months, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
