Help us deliver like never before As our Seasonal Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!    We're now hiring for our seasonal period. Seasonal team members generally commence across September and December and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas.  You’ll be  Safely loading/unloading your van for delivery  Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   Driving our modern vehicles between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups   Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups   You’ll be paid $45.30 /hour +Super Some roles may also attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend workYou’ll also have access to ‘Post Perks’ – a benefits platform where you’ll have access to 100s of discounts and offers on heaps of your favourite brands for groceries, fashion, tech, travel and everything in between.   About you  Be available Monday-Friday 10:30am -2:30 pm You’re an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident You hold a relevant  license  You’re safety focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights  You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.     We’re delivering together At Australia Post, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, live and gather as employees.  We believe our business should reflect the diverse communities we operate in and are proud to be an inclusive workplace for people from all walks of life.
