The Advancement department at INSEAD is dedicated to fundraising and developing relationships with alumni and donors. It plays a crucial role in supporting the school’s strategic initiatives and promoting engagement within the INSEAD community.
INSEAD is seeking a Digital Communications Apprentice to join our Advancement department. This is a full-time, contract position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
About the Job
We are currently looking to recruit an apprentice to join the Advancement Communications team as a Digital Communications Apprentice starting from September 2025. Based on our Europe campus in Fontainebleau, the role is located within our Advancement Department.
Your role within the team
- Assist the Marketing and Communications team in preparation for important events, such as the Alumni Forum, Alumni Reunions, Global INSEAD Day, and Giving Day
- Serve as Community Manager: draft Social Media posts and engage with the audience; Create 3 to 4 reels every 6 months for our social media channels, especially Instagram.
- Help with live coverage capturing photos, videos, on social media.
- Aid in creating PowerPoint presentations that are visually appealing and informative
- Assist in brainstorming content ideas using different formats (reels, carousals, videos, etc.) across all social media platforms
- Support the monitoring and reporting of media and social media activities using tools such as Metricool, Meltwater
- Assist in updating and ensuring content consistency on INSEAD.edu.
- Contribute to video and photo shooting, production, editing and sorting
- Create graphic designs and templates using Canva for bespoke campaigns
- Support in creating and updating the digital and Alumni toolkits
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal profile
- In preparation of Master’s degree in communications, ideally for 2 years
- Good communication skills
- Great sense of creativity and passionate about digital content creation
- Always seeking to improve personal skills
- Knowledge of web editing tools
- Excellent use of the Office Pack and ability to use the media networks
- Excellent team spirit with the ability to work autonomously
- Meticulous attention to detail and analytics skills
- Competence in Adobe Illustrator, Canva and Video Editing Tools
- Excellent English level, written and spoken
